Meghan's new favorite words and things to do and Maras make up!

Meghan is really coming into her own shell lately. Her favorite things to say are a million times a day, "I want more" and of course, "no, mommy, not want it" and now the new thing is "no take bath mommy, hot" We had a little episode where Mara is like mommy and likes hot tub baths and Meg can't take the heat. She got super unhappy one night when Mara poured a cup of water over her head and she has been traumatized ever since. So no more brother/ sister tubbies for Meggie! I had to bribe her with all kinds of toys and she finally got in the tub in the guest room! Our other issue with Meggie is that she started taking her zip up feety pjs off in her crib and then tells me "change diaper". I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the diaper off isn't next! She also is never satisfied and constantly wants more snacks in her bowl even if its filled to the too, "more grapes, more berries, more fish, more yogurt, just more anything!!!

It's breakfast time... If she sees anyone with a pop tart the healthy breakfast routine of oatmeal, fruit or bananas goes right out the window!

 "juuuiccce please"

"if the shoe fits, wear it!" Meggie loves to wear any shoe that she sees laying around. She thinks she is such a big girl when she has on big shoes!

Mara and Jessie playing hair salon and Make up artist!

The girls took turns doing each others hair with the American Girl doll water spray bottle and then brushed it out and then used all the make up to put on each other. They looked beautiful and had so much fun playing together.

Mara has been having a blast being a Girly girl and living pretending to be the little mommy! She loves to play hairdresser and make up and her bestie Jessie and her make a great team!

Our little princess, Samara.
Mara got a gift card from Uncle Doug and Aunt Joan for the Disney store so she went to town and got all dressed up in a new Tinkerbell costume! We were invited to a Princess party and she had a blast wearing her new dress there!

 Our new fireplace
We were able to do a switch from propane to gas this last fall and during our switch we decided that it would finally be a good time to get a new fireplace that worked and worked efficiently to heat up the downstairs. We love it and love being all warm and cozy together in the living room. The kids want it on every morning and when we wake up it is 62 degrees downstairs and within 10 minutes it is super warm in the living room.

Here is the remote for our fireplace and it shows us the temperature in the room. It actually gets too hot and we have to lower it. Now we are going to hire a painter to redo the walls and trim so that it matches better. Its going to be a very cozy living room!
