I am running with Team In Training in April to help find a cure for cancer. I am just past my halfway point in fundraising and have raised $1500.00 to date. It is amazing the donations that are coming in. I just received two more checks yesterday in the mail from my cousin in Florida and one of Don's partners too! The race will be very exciting and the finish line will be for all those fighting cancer and one step closer to finding a cure!

Mara and Meggie in the tub!
Meggie saw Mara having fun in the tub and she wanted to get back in there with her. I was surprised because last week she was terrified of getting in with Mara. They had fun and didn't want to get out. We did Mara's hair and made her look really funny!
She also finally let us change her earrings but we only managed to change one of them. She totally freaked out when we went to do the second one so for about 5 days now she has been walking around with one purple earring and one diamond earring. This is the girl that beats to her own drum!
And after we were all clean the kids were having a little fun while Mommy was trying to get things done in the kitchen. I noticed that it was a little too quiet in the living room so I went in to check on them and this is how I found Mara. Connor took all the lipstick from the make up kit and drew a sun on her forehead and lined her face and hands with bright pink lipstick. I caught Meg just in time with the lipstick and saved our rug and couch from a serious disaster!
Time to make some brownies on this snowy day!
They were a lot of fun to make, but even more fun to eat the batter!
Mommy and the kids can't wait for the Valentine's Doughnuts filled with Brownie Batter. They are going to be contagious and I can see us going there more than once!
The Sweetest Hearts For Valentine's Day: Heart-Shaped Donuts Are Back At Dunkin' Donuts
Can't wait to celebrate Valentine's Day! Don and I are going to go to one of my favorite restaurants Feb 9 to celebrate and I just might stop at DD afterwards for some delicious dessert!
Meggie's new favorite thing to do:
She likes to take off her pjs and throw them out of her crib! Let's hope the diapers not next! ha,ha!
January snow, we want a blizzard but all we keep getting is light coatings, so its now or never for the sledding! And a great time for Smores too!
It's a snowy day and Mara had a playdate so after our run we made some homemade smores..Yummy!We also made a great batch of fudge brownies, too! Me and the kids are now overloading on girl scout cookies and brownies!Searching for the perfect sticks to use for our marshmallows so we can make smores!
LET'S GO FLYERS!
LET'S GO FLYERS!
Connor went to his first Flyers game of the season with Don and they had the best time ever! He decided that he wanted to go early so he could watch them practice and try to get autographs but Don knows the players don't interact with the fans but they gave it a try anyway. He did score a puck from the ice crew and got a huge wink from the goalie "Bryz" and when he winked at Connor all the fans cheered really loud. The Flyers won this game and Connor was for sure a good luck charm.
