Double Celebration Today: Happy Father's Day and Happy 7th Anniversary

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO THE WORLD'S GREATEST DAD, MY DAD AND HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO THE OTHER WORLDS GREATEST DADDY, MY HUSBAND! AND HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO THE DAD I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO CALL MY DAD, MY FATHER IN LAW, RALPH!

Don really enjoyed all the handmade projects that the kids made for him. Connor and Mara were so excited to finally give Daddy all the things they made him from school. Connor and Mara both made books about themselves to give him and Connor a poem that he sang to Don as well. The kids came home from church singing, D-A-D-D-Y, D-A-D-D-Y AND D-A-D-D-Y IS HIS NAME OH! and they kept singing it all day until Daddy got home from the auction.

Today we celebrated Father's day with Daddy, Pop Pop and Uncle Andy enjoying a great day with the kids playing outside all day. Daddy went to the Auction with Uncle Tommy for the early part of the day and we went to church and then came home and played baseball, swung on the swings, played in the driveway, watched baseball and golf and had a great bbq to top it off. Uncle Andy was worn out by 6pm and ready for his train back to D.C and pop pop was ready to go home only to do it all again in a few more days. The kids are non stop....Connor's only vocabulary right now is "will you have a catch with me?" and Mara's only vocabulary is "can you please push me on the swings?" and Megs only vocabulary is "mommy, mommy and if I walk away the mommy, mommy just gets louder and louder!

HAPPY 7TH ANNIVERSARY, HONEY!
...note to self....next year try to remember to take a picture of just the two of us...because it's hard to find one! We are always taking pics with the kids but never just the two of us and of course today got away from us and it's now 10:20 and I'm in Pj's and not ready for any photos with my honey! So this is the most recent and will have to do!  We did try to play our dvd, but of course I couldn't find it so we settled for looking at the dvd of pictures from our photographer and watched it with the kids.

We had a nice dinner last night to celebrate our Anniversary by going to our favorite restaurant in the city, Demetri's. Its been a great 7 years together and each year keeps getting better and better. Don got me a card that said for my amazing wife... and my card said Happy you and me day. It's crazy how kids change everything but one thing is for sure our love is still always and forever. Thanks for being there for me all the time and for putting up with my craziness. I love you to the moon and back again!
