Princess Dance Camp presented by the Dance Factory
Day 1: Cinderella
Day 2: Tinkerbelle
Day 3: Snow White
Day 4: Sleeping Beauty
Day 5: Belle
A week of dancing like a princess with the princesses.
Mara experienced her first touch of dance at her camp this week and at the end of the last class today they did a little recital and had a party. Each girl got a certificate with their name on it and was given a goodie bag to take home. Each day they learned different dance moves and sang songs. They also did a craft during class too. Mara made a princess crown, a bag to put her goodies in, a wand, and drew a picture of a princess.
Mara wanted to wear the beautiful tutu that Mimi made her and we got so many compliments on it. Thank you Mimi!
Whenever Mara is in deep thought or concentration she sticks out her tongue. I have a million pictures of her doing that at dance camp. She really liked it a lot and had such a fun week dancing with the princeses.

A Big Day for Meggie too! She got her first tooth today. It is still in the process of breaking through but you can definitely feel it and see the top of it. My baby is growing up way to fast. She ate her first real mashed bananna today and had some cherrios cut in half for breakfast and at dinner. She was a pro. It's like she has been waiting forever for me to give her picky foods. She took the cherrio and put it right in her mouth from her tray. When they were gone, she immediately cried so I took that as can I have more please!!!

I joined a CSA this summer and will get a bunch of fresh fruit and veggies each week from a local farm. I decided to share it with a friend since Don isn't the biggest veggie eater(couldn't even get him to eat the corn), but me and the kids had a blast with our first bundle. I made an awesome ziti summer veggie dish, that was from the cooking light magazine. We got an array of things this time: blueberries, squash, zucchini, basil, parsley, cucumbers, swiss chard(not a big fan but I tried it), corn, peppers, tomatoes, and long hots. So needless to say I have been eating really healthy the past three nights.
Slurppin it up!
Cleanin Me up!
