Storybook Land and the Philadelphia Zoo

When Mimi was in town we decided to use our passes and take the kids to Storybook Land. Carson, Gabby and Cecelia came too. We had a most perfect day and the kids all had a ton of fun. Mara and Cecelia were little dare devils and went on almost every ride. They both loved the spinning tilt a whirl which Tracie had to go on with them because after one ride I couldn't handle another. Don't know what happens when you get older but I used to love that ride and now I can barely handle two minutes of it. Connor and Carson just wanted to go over and over again on the Bubbles rollacoaster. They had a blast just going on it over and over. We picked a great day because it was the last week of school and their were hardly any school trips there and it was a really cool day.

The Philadelphia Zoo

We took a day trip with the Keith's and they were having so much fun looking at all the animals and when we were eating lunch they were more into chasing the ducks then eating.

 Mara and Connor in the children's zoo brushing the goats. A few years ago Conno was so afraid to touch the goats and now he will just run right in there and play with them. Mara has loved it since day one. She loved petting the goats and brushing them but I think she was more excited to wash her hands and hang out under the dryer. One day we were washing our hands and they had an electric dryer and Mommy stuck her head under it to show Mara how it blows your hair so now everytime she sees one she has to pretend she is drying her hair. Lately she has been really into playing hairdresse and she loves to use her curling iron and blow dryer and my hair clips to do mine and Don's hair.
