CRAZY DAY

Sometimes I just have to stop and realize that everyday can't be perfect and simple that it is the hard days that make you remember to just take in each moment and breathe because the kids are only little once and one day they will be all grown and you will just wish you could get just one second of one of the crazy days back. Today was one of those days. Started off with Pop Pop calling to cancel his plans with the kids and Mommy's shopping break because he is sick with another cold and we are hoping this one doesn't last that long and he gets better fast. We went to MOPS and things were good there, Megs was a little bit of a challenge but overall it was great. Then after MOPS it all went downhill from there. We were stuck in traffic because of construction(don't they know that they should be repaving the roads at night when no one is out driving on them). We were trying to go to McDonald's because that is where Pop Pop was taking the kids for lunch and then my friend text me that they were at the diner so we decided to join them instead. Immediately when we got to the table it was absolute chaos and the rest of lunch was crazy too. Meg had to be held the whole time, Mara kept hitting the blinds and basically standing on the seat and practically on the table. Connor was pretty good which is the usual for him but then he started to bug Mara which set her off again. She is just her own personality and super hyper all the time. I think it was close to nap too which didn't help much. Anyway, once we got out of there things seemed to get a little better. Meg and Mara are both napping and Connor is watching tv. I am blogging so at least my mind is resting now for a little while. When  I got home my friend sent me a text and said it will all be okay and to listen to the song "Your gonna Miss This" and here it goes:

Five years later there's a plumber workin' on the water heater

Dog's barkin', phone's ringin'

One kid's cryin', one kid's screamin'

He says they don't bother me

I've got 2 babies of my own

One's 36, one's 23

So when you have a bad day just remember its not going to last long and at some point someone else was in your same shoes and they made it through the day too.  Well enough about how hard my day was, I just get on the computer and blog and look at all the great moments and then share them with all of you and keep smiling.

Connor learned how to jump rope this week. What a great milestone. He is really coordinated and is having fun jumping all around the house and counting how many times he can jump.

 So even though the kids fight like crazy some days they really love eachother and have fun together when they want to be best freinds and play together.

 Tons of fun together at the park over the weekend. We were the only ones there and they must have gone down the slide together a hundred times just laughing and giggling each time. It was really nice to sit and watch them having so much fun together.

 Megs and Mara after dinner one night this week. Mara still has her sauce all over her face but insisted on jumping in on Megs photo shoot.

 Connor climbed all the way to the top of the climber at the park. He loves to get all the way up and jump back down. He is defintely not afraid of anything.

 Meghans first time in her bumbo seat. She wanted to be right there with us during dinner and its amazing to see how fast she is growing and before we know it she will be three too!
