Highlights from the week so far

Meghan Reese

 Meghan is such a giggly little wiggly girl. We couldn't love her more. She has the cutest little cheeks that make you just want to squeeze and kiss them all day long. She is so much fun and such a great baby. She has started to make more cooing noises lately and definitely is having more fun these days. She is enjoying her bumbo seat and just started using her exersaucer although she can't yet reach the toys. It is just some where different to sit besides being in the swing all day. She still loves the swing and I think we are currently on our 4th battery change of "D" batteries which makes it a very expensive hobby for such a little girl. She is learning how to spend Mommy and Daddy's money  at an early age. I'm sure it won't take the girls long to realize that it is really easy to win Daddy over. I think Connor has already taken advantage of that trait in him. Tonight we got Meg to actually giggle on command and I had her do it a few times in a row and then Connor got her to laugh on command too. It was really cute.

inseparable...

Over the past few weeks Connor and Mara have been spending more and more time playing together than ever before. They are really having fun playing imaginary things together and just being two lovable cuddly brother and sister to each other.  Don made the kids a toy car today with a box that came in the mail and they spent time together decorating it with paint markers and Daddy helped to cut a window out and dashboard and then Connor got his driving wheel and they pretended for about an hour straight that they were driving the car. It was all well and good until Connor got out and then he didn't want Mara in there by herself because he wanted to be in control.
