Mara's first trip to the Movie Theatre

Mara had her first experience with the big screen today to see the movie "Barnyard" which was one of the featured free movies playing for all kids at the Edgemont movie theater. We met our friend Nickie their and her two adorable kids Alexa and Chloe. Connor really had a great time. Mara on the other hand had more fun rocking the chair, going potty, running in circles and doing anything other than watching the movie which she called the big tv. I didn't mind that much that she wasn't sitting because it wasn't that crowded and their were a lot of kids there and she wasn't the only one not paying attention. I do think that the movie was a little bit old for them because some of the language involved words like, "stupid" and I really don't want my kids running around saying that. Overall, it was a good time and worth the trip to Pa. I'm just glad it was free. After we got home, we headed to the pool for two hours and now Connor is out buying things for the house with Daddy to make sure everything is in good shape for our inspection on Thursday. Mara is napping and I am finally catching up on my blog.

Kelly I just LOVE and ADORE you!! It was so great spending time with you today and catching up (after the movie in the arcade room!) That picture of all the kids would be great if I was cropped out of it! LOL I agree that the movie was a bit too old for them, but like you said...you can't beat FREE! I love that you write down what everyone is doing AT THE MOMENT! I need to do that more often. You're great! let's get together soon, and meet at Smithplayhouse sometime where the kids can get their wiggles out like no other! LOVE YOU!! Talk to you soon! And GOOD LUCK with EVERYTHING!! You guys are in our prayers!!
