Rainy trip to Longwood Gardens
So, as if there weren't enough water outside the kids had a blast playing in the water fountains and painting with the water inside. They really did enjoy themselves in the Children's Garden display.
Wow, we are actually all smiling in this picture in front of the big tree in the conservatory.
We got to see Thomas at the train display, What a great Surprise. Connor says on the way home, " Thomas only was really there to see me, not you mommy or Daddy or Mara" so possessive of his "Thomas".
Mom and Dad having fun with all the kiddos! Kids all giving hugs in front of the beautiful tree display.
So, we were all starving and what better thing to do than to go inside where it is warm and not raining, but eat. I must say they have the best wild mushroom soup I have ever had even if it does cost $5 a bowl. It is a must at the gardens! Connor was having so much fun on our trip that when we got inside the restaurant I noticed that his eye was totally orange underneath, I guess he got a little too close to the flowers and has stain under his eyelid from the holly bush!
