Uncle Andy came to visit over the New Year's break and we did our christmas with him. The kids were so excited to open thier presents from him and Gramma and Grampa. Connor got an entire Flyers jersey and pant set which he wore the next day all day and seriously played hockey for hours on end until we had to tell him it was enough. Hopefully next year we can start him in little league hockey mites over in Aston next February or sooner if possible. He really takes a liking to hockey and baseball. Samara was happy with her presents too. They loved the Melissa & Doug band set from Uncle Andy and the books ,video, and clothes from Gramma, too.

LIFE I AM THE NEW YEAR

Life I am the new year.
I am an unspoiled page in your book of time.
I am your next chance at the art of living.
I am your opportunity to practice what you have learned about life during the last twelve months.
All that you sought and didn't find is hidden in me,
waiting for you to search it out with more determination.
All the good that you tried for and didn't achieve
is mine to grant when you have fewer conflicting desires.
All that you dreamed but didn't dare to do, all that you hoped but did not will,
all the faith that you claimed but did not have --
these slumber lightly, waiting to be awakened
by the touch of a strong purpose.
I am your opportunity
to renew your allegiance to Him who said, "behold, I make all things new."
I am the new year.

New Year's Day was spent at Aunt Jess's and Uncle Dave's for the "Day of Dave"

College Football at its Best!

Go Penn State!

For our New Year's Eve celebration we went to Cork in Westmont to ring in the New Year with our good friends the Keith's and Scheiner's. We actually made it back to town four minutes before midnight to watch the ball drop. It was a great night with good food and great friends.
