The Can Can Sale at Shoprite
If you recently saw my pantry....you should see it now! Mara and Meggie were seriously big troppers at Shoprite today while I stocked up on water, kidney/chickpea beans, tuna, soup and broth.

After our trip Mara decided to have a little fun with her baby sister while Mommy was unpacking the car....of course what would laughter and fun be like without a little road bump!
.....don't worry she is okay!
Whew...sure am glad I don't have to get behind the wheel with her for a long,long time.
Mommy learned her lesson and Meggie won't be going for any more rides until she can reach her feet on the floor of the car.
How it went down:
Mara: Mommy can Meg go with me in my car when we get home from the store?
Mommy: Mmmmm, I don't think so, but maybe if you go slow and be really careful. I will see if the buckle holds her in tight.
Mara: okay, I will go slow,I promise.
Mommy: okay Mara, lets try it while I unload packages but only for a minute
Mara: yay, Meggie is going in my car
Meggie: smiling and giggling away
Mara: (about 1min later), I want Meghan out of my car now, this is boring.
Mommy: okay you can put it in fast speed, just don't hit anything and don't go backwards, be really careful
Mara: ok mom
Mommy: maybe I should video this because Meghan is having a blast and it is so cute.
Meghan: whaaaaa! Whaaaa! boom! cries are coming.....wha, wha, wha!
Mommy: OH NO!
Mara: is she going to be okay?
Mommy: she is okay, thank goodness!
Mara: ok (off she went to finish her ride without her baby sister in the passenger seat!)
Mommy: won't be doing that again!
Our first snowfall of 2012
Well it didn't accumulate to much, but enough for two little kids to be super excited to go and play for a little while.
Just enough snow for them to enjoy, but not enough to cause a headache. It looked pretty and was gone in a few hours. I dropped Mara off at school and came home and barely made it up the driveway in my van and then when I went to pick Mara up from school a few hours later she said, "mom, did all the snow melt?" Yup, honey, sorry. Good thing you played in it before school, huh?
