Face Painting was of course a must do event at the farm. It was pushing 80 degrees so I told the kids they could only get a small thing painted either on their face or hand because I didn't want them sweaty and itchy. Connor wanted a pumpkin jack o lantern and Mara got a butterfly on her hand. After the face Painting we went on the pony ride and then Jess watched Megs so I could take them on the tractor ride. Don had to work all weekend so he didn't get to enjoy the festivities. Boo hoo for him.
We were at an apple farm but it was too crazy to actually pick apples so I told them we would try to go back another day. There was no way I could push a wagon, pick apples, push the stroller and take the hike through the apple fields alone.
Mara and Connor were both troopers and didn't complain as long as I said they could have water ice before we left.
