Happy 6oth Birthday Mommy!

Happy 60th Birthday Mom

My mom is the most special woman in my life. She is always supportive and encouraging, generous and caring, and so much fun to be around. I cherish every conversation, every visit, and everything we share.

and I hope I look as good as she does when I'm sixty....

How we celebrated with the Birthday Gal

a little of Mimi's favorite to start off the celebration...take notice that the bottle is completely empty.

I guess that's enough said for how much fun Mimi had at her party with 7 crazy kids running around screaming all day.
Aunt Jess had the kids make her a card and everyone there signed it "ESPESHELLY" for Mimi. That is how Peyton wrote out the card. It was really sweet, I almost thought she was going to shed a tear.
mmmm. what could be in the bag....
Wow....a bag! A Coach Bag. It only took Mom 60 years to finally own one. So glad she loved it so much and it is absolutely the perfect bag for her.
AND OF COURSE FOR MARA, TOO!

Just a few plastic wine glasses for poolside this summer! And there we are, the entire Panhuise clan and the Eifle Tower. No one said that Uncle Mike should have been sitting down in this picture.

Not much time for Mimi to blow out her own candles, Mara and Nicholas had them out before we were even finished singing Happy Birthday. So we had to re create the wish for Mimi!
Connor and Mimi playing Star Wars, I'm sure this is just what Mimi bargained for on her trip here.
She definitely knows how to make one little happy Grandson smile!
And really who wouldn't have a great birthday party if we didn't have all these crazy monsters running around being goofy and making everyone laugh.
Even Uncle Mike is joining in on the fun, Hey I should have given Mara a dust rag to clean while she was up there.
Mimi's wonderful children, Mommy you sure have done good!
and as for Poppy, he doesn't care how much screaming is going on because he was the smart one and could tune it out!

"HEY POPPY, DO YOU HAVE YOUR HEARING AIDS IN BECAUSE I CAN'T HEAR YOU"

We had so much fun and I hope you had a lot of fun celebrating your 60th with all of us. We love you so much and can't wait to see you in less than a month again. Whippee, Yippee, Ya, Yay!

This was a good laugh. Mara has never seen a bald head before and when she was on Poppy's shoulders she took one look at the top of his head and wanted to jump right off. Don't know what she was thinking when she saw his scalp, but it wasn't a place she wanted to be.

Fun in the sun finally after a week of rain and cold weather. Can you believe it, we actually had snow on April 1st, what a cruel April Fools Day joke:(
