Halloween Craft Idea and The Scheiner's Halloween Playgroup Party

Fun Craft Idea to do with your kids one afternoon when you are trying to pass the time! I found this in a magazine last week and decided to try it with just Connor while Mara was napping because you had to use the glue gun and I didn't want Mara to get burnt. We got a few sticks from the yard that had nubs on them and then glued the candy corns onto the branches. We then stuffed them into the vase using Styrofoam and filled the top part of the vase with the leftover candy corns. It makes a great festive centerpiece for our kitchen table and we had a great time making it. This was a great way to get rid of the candy because every time I walked by the bowl I would eat two or three and now that they are glued down I can't eat anymore of them. The pumpkins are from the Moms club Halloween Party so only one is decorated because Connor was at school so Mara was the lucky one for once and got to put stickers all over her pumpkin.

 "ROSETTA" THE FAIRY PRINCESS

Mara with her friend Danielle decorating their pumpkins
Mara playing ring around the rosy with all the girls
notice her costume is already off. She was watching Lauren again and wanted to take hers off too!
 "and we all fall down"
look at that smile all over a Reese's cup
She got chocolate all over her tights so before we went to Lauren's I had to wash them so she could wear them again!
 three little pumpkin cuties...

Mara checking up on baby Allison. She is always so curious about Allie and what she is doing. She is going to make a very good big sister and helper, I can just see it now.

The whole clan trying to get organized on the couch for a group photo. I never did get a good picture. By the time we got them all on the couch Allison and Reese were crying and Connor jumped off to see that Allie was okay and all along Mara wanted nothing to do with another picture, she was just in her own little world playing with all the strollers and baby dolls.
Connor, Mason, Tyson and Liam(staying far away from the bad boys)
"the super heros of the world"
Iron Man- Connor
Spider Man- Mason
Transformer Man - Tyson
Buzz Light Year- Liam
The boys had a blast playing together or should I say wrestling and torturing each other. They were just running around like complete crazys the whole time form the moment we walked in the door. I actually had Jess put on a movie to try to calm them down for a little bit which of course only lasted for a short while and then they were at it again. Liam is in the background but he didn't want to get in the picture. I don't blame him because he is smart and probably didn't want to get tackled by the rest of them.
Jess had a great spread of food and fun games for the kids. They decorated tambourines that Jess had made for them and then we had pizza and tons of treats. Thanks Jess for hosting the extremely chaotic play date Halloween Party. It was so much fun to see all the kids together again!
