Fall is here...but I'm still waiting for the leaves to change colors and cover the ground.
In the meantime, Daddy is getting his knee fixed today from his golfing injury where he twisted it the day of my brothers wedding. He is in surgery at this current moment so praying for a quick recovery for him because I know he can't wait to get back on the golf course and to wrestle around with his favorite love bugs!!!
The kids are in full swing with their fall sports. Connor still tearing up the soccer fields with his aggressive little heart and having fun learning the sport of roller hockey too!
Connor started roller hockey two weeks ago and loves it. Surprise... He scored a goal at his first scrimmage. Don took him to his first hockey game of the season and it was a big hit. He got to go back and get a picture with the zamboni, shake hands with Steve Coates, talked to a player through the glass, got winked at by Wayne Simmons and got another practice puck. To top off his night he even made it on the jumbotron! One happy little boy despite the flyers loss!
Meggie and Mara got to have their own fun too while Daddy and Connor were at the game. We went out to dinner and then I surprised them by going to Yogo Factory for ice cream after! They loved it there and we could have just got our cups filled with candy and left the ice cream, lol.
Meggie loves to be the little actress. She's always posing for the camera and asking me to take her picture. Yesterday she had us all cracking up. I took her for her annual flu shot and after her super long nap of 4 hours she woke up with her arm in her shirt telling us that she had a bad boo-boo. Her shot hurt and she was really milking it!
And of course all while hiding her smile she is saying,
Which she's probably right!! Have you ever seen me post anything without using exclamation points, haha!!
And there I am after 70 miles on my bike during the MS ride, smiling and happy doing what I love to do. Running of course is my first choice but nothing like flying down the hills on your bike with the wind at your back.
