LET'S CELEBRATE
F I V E
Connor had so much fun, "the most fun ever", according to Connor and a lot of the other kids, too. We invited 25 kids to the indoor soccer arena and they really got their wiggles out in the two hours that we were there. They ran around for the first half hour just being kids, then Coach Mike did some organized drills, they played with the scooters and then we had pizza and cake followed by more running and races held by Coach Mike. They all had so much fun and we are really happy that we chose to do a soccer birthday celebration.
This picture is priceless to me. Both cousins, Connor and Carson are doing the exact same thing at the same time with their arms itching the back of their necks, I should ask Connor about this and find out what they were pondering about.
Samara and Carter having fun playing video games during the party. Mara pretending that she is actually driving the car. They were playing really cute together.
Can you believe it, Megs missed the entire party and woke up on the car ride home. We will have to fill her in later.
HOLY MOLY, Guacamole....Connor got so many presents. I really had to put some away so he doesn't get too overwhelmed playing with them all. Thank you so much everyone for all that you gave him. He was the happiest five year old kid around that day.
He loves everything he got, but by far one of his favorite gifts was his backpack camping kit. He immediately put it on and then decided he wanted to sleep in his sleeping bag and filled his water bottle up and put batteries in his flashlight and Mommy was so excited that maybe, just maybe Connor would sleep on the floor in our room instead of the bed, but we were wrong. The irony wore off and he was back in our bed and said, "I don't want to sleep on the floor by myself." Well, one can hope that soon he will want to be in his own room, right?
He loves his new PJ's too, and is playing soccer with this great non floor scratching soccer game from his friend Lauren and the kids love it.
Can't wait to go fishing with my buddy, Tanner. Love the fishing pole and can't wait for Daddy to take me.
Don and I made all the kids little sport bottles to take home after the party so they can use them this spring on the soccer field. They came out really cute. We gave them stickers, pencils and then filled the bottles with candy.
READY, SET, GO..... getting ready to call it a day and finish with some races.
and they are off.....
the WINNER is...
