No Time for Blogging!

Look at me I'm Three!

So Meghan will be 3 weeks tomorrow. It really seems hard to believe that she is almost a month old already and I feel like it was just yesterday that she entered our lives and how great of a blessing she has been to all of us. It is just amazing how much love she gets from her big brother and big sister. Connor especially being the extra sensitive child just cuddles and talks so super sweet to her it just brings a tear to my eye hearing him talk to her. At any given moment he is trying to give her kisses and show her how much he loves her. Mara on the other hand is trying to get used to being the middle child and some days we feel that she is a little jealous but really she just wants to be loved, smothered, and reminded that she is still our princess. She is a great Mommy's helper and loves to steal all of Meghan's diapers for her doll baby's. I just keep reminding her that she can reuse her diapers and we only have to throw out the ones that Meghan wears, not the ten thousand that she tries to put on the dolls. Mara had a big mile stone this past week and hit the big number 3! We had a great birthday celebration for her on Thanksgiving and then celebrated again on her real birthday. She enjoyed a great outing with her Pop Pop who treated her to lunch at McDonald's and then they went to Shoprite so she could pick out her own cupcakes and pick some stuff up for Mommy. She loved all of her presents and is having tons of fun playing with her new dolls, carrier, highchair, barbies, computer and books. She loves all of her new clothes and everything else that she got. She was one lucky birthday girl. Mara and Connor have been having a blast getting ready for Christmas. We went to tag our tree last weekend at the farm and the kids got a surprise ride on the golf cart to go check the tree to make sure it was the perfect one. We are hoping to pick it up on Saturday morning. and decorate it on Sunday after church. Every night the kids and Don have been bringing up Christmas decorations as to drag out the decorating process just a little bit and make it more fun. The other night they brought up the stockings and because we still have to buy the hooks for the fireplace they were playing with them and Connor got this bright idea to put them on their feet and wear Santa hats and pretend to be Santa's elf's. It was just adorable and they are having so much fun playing together and using their little imaginations. They are even using Mara's shopping cart and stroller as Santa's sled.
