It's a White Holiday Season!

Connor's Christmas
Connor really wanted a Telescope from Santa this year so he could find Venus out there in the great big sky. He was so excited that he actually got the telescope we had to set it up so he could see what it is like looking through the lens. It was a great Christmas this year with all the excitement of Connor and his gifts from Santa.
Connor's favorite Soccer Player ornament from Pop Pop
We had quite a theme going this year with Toy Story 3 coming out and Connor just fell in love with everything Toy Story after Halloween and loves to fly around the house pretending to be Buzz and saying, "To Infinity and Beyond" He got the super shooter, Buzz Wings, Buzz costume and a Big Buzz Light Year to run around and play with. He is just beaming with excitement.

The one gift that Santa surprised Connor with that he didn't even ask for but when he saw this next to the tree Christmas morning he was jumping up and down saying, "How did Santa know I wanted this, this is great" We put this in the basement and Connor has been shooting baskets non stop. He really is quite good at it and played with Mimi, but Mimi won by one basket. He is learning to be a good sport and knows that he can't win all the time and it's okay to lose and be a good sport about it because you might just win next time.

Samara's Christmas
The little princess got everything she asked for and more...
Her favorites are the Dollhouse Mansion, the Princess House and of course the make up!

So I guess you should read the fine print before you let Santa bring in the biggest Dollhouse in history that makes your actual furniture in your house look small. We couldn't believe the size of this thing, no wonder it is called the Kidcraft Mansion Dollhouse. Mara doesn't even need the Dollhouse family that every store was sold out of because her barbies work wonders in this house. Mara at first sight when she saw the house she actually opened the garage doors and tried to sit inside it. It comes up to above my chin and even has an elevator. We finally moved it to the wall behind the couch so that it didn't look like it was taking over the living room. It is great though, Mara and Connor are both having a fun time playing with it.

 The Princesses' Hut

Can't go wrong with baby dolls, Mara loves to play pretend and feed her babies and change their diapers. This baby drinks a bottle and can go to the potty.

Mara's favorite thing to do this year was to just go wild and tear open as fast as she could any gift that she could get her hands on even if it wasn't hers. This is just more fun, I will open everyone's gift!

This is what happens when you leave the kids alone with the make up. They literally were totally covered in pink make up over their entire faces.

It's a beautiful Winter Wonderland out here.

Love the dollhouse! It is really big, but will provide years of fun for all three of them. And the make-up is too funny!!! Lauren is never going to want to leave your house when she comes over! :)
