Less than two weeks to go before the big MOVE!

Mara pretending to be a lion with the packing paper. She was so excited to play with all the paper and boxes or maybe just so excited to be alone with just her MOMMY!

 Movers arrive 8am, JULY 29th!

So that's right everyone, the move is coming up really quickly and we are becoming surrounded by tons and tons of boxes. Only one really important thing to do first before we go to settlement and that is get our CO approval. I talked to the person in charge of the company I am using for the Heating and Fireplace certification and she spoke with the Logan Home inspector for giving a CO so we can move and of course the drama with our fireplace continues to give me excess stress. She did give me a relief that I am assuming he is going to pass me but put a red flag status on the fact that our fireplace is not working but currently being serviced if only we can find the part that we need. The guy is coming back on Friday to do more research and to see what type of gas line we have so he may be able to buy a universal part so please pray with me that this all works out, because enough tears have been shed over the last month that I really just need something to go the right way. I have been totally blessed by awesome friendships and have made my packing actually feel like a progression. Connor has been spending the afternoon at friends houses the last two days so that I can get tons of packing done while Mara naps. It has been absolutely wonderful. I still have not been sleeping all that great because I often wake up totally stressed that I still have tons more to do. I conquered most of the attic, got a huge dent of things packed in the garage and Friday is metal pick up so Don will be hauling butt to get all the stuff out for pick up that we aren't taking with us. I actually feel tonight that we will be all set and organized the day of the move. I'm only hoping that Friday's service on this dreaded fireplace goes well. Don't know why it is necessary for the CO because it doesn't even produce heat(it says right on the panel...DECORATIVE GAS FIREPLACE), but nothing is easy these days and the township has to be difficult somehow.

Today we went to the Moms club meeting, went to the pool and played in the rain, and then we finished it off with an ice cream extravaganza at G&G. The kids had fun running around with Lauren, Tyson, and Sully and of course Mara just loves being anywhere with Allison. I think I am in trouble when the baby comes because I have to keep a close eye on Mara when she is around Allie because she thinks she can sit on her and pick her up and tells me she is a big girl and can do it. I feel really bad for Jess, because we all know Mara just loves her to pieces, but she doesn't realize that she can really hurt her.Don is just getting home now at 10 pm from a long day at work so I will blog more another day. Hope you are all enjoying your summer days and finding fun things to do inside during this rainy time even though the grass really needs a good soaking.
