Connor's first Phillies Game and Mara Playing Splasing in the Pool!

Moyer tops Jays while making history

Jamie Moyer limited the high powered Jays offense to two runs over seven innings -- and also allowed his 506th homer for a new MLB record -- while the Phillies took advantage of four errors by the Toronto defense.

Today was Connor's first experience going to a MLB game at Citizen's Bank Park. Uncle Mike had two extra tickets to sit 5 rows off the first base line and they had such a great time. It was a scorcher out there but they still had a lot of fun eating ballpark hotdogs and watching the Phils beat the BlueJays 11-2. Way to Go Phillies. Connor was so excited that when he came home he was spinning around in circles showing off his new Ryan Howard t-shirt.
This was taken before the game, Mara was all Phillies too in her pink phillies tank top from Uncle Andy. She looked so pretty in pink. Connor is giving his high five for the Phils.
Now, Mara has to imitate Connor and is giving her high five to the Phillies.
Here is Mommy enjoying a moment of giggles with the kids. Don't know what is going on with my right eye in this picture, don't look for too long, it's scary!
All prepared to catch a ball, Connor wore his baseball hat and brought his glove just in case, but no such luck. He did tell me all about the game and who scored homeruns, but was most excited to tell me all about his favorite, "CHASE UGTLY". He said, "Mom, you won't believe it, Chase was up two times and struck out and then he got it going and was hitting, then some rambling on....and it was so amazing, Mom, then Ryan Howard, and Jason Werth, the Phillies were really winning, Mom they won the game, didn't Daddy tell you that."
This was taken from Don's phone, so don't know why it is all distorted, but here is the big guy waiting to watch the other big guys play baseball.
Seems like the pixels are still not cooperating with me on these photos. Here is Connor and Daddy at the game from their seats five rows back.
Micheal and Emily at the Phillies Game with Don and Connor. They really enjoyed seeing Connor having so much fun.
Connor with his Uncle Mike. If you look close Connor actually looks a little scared up there, but still smiling.
Mara was having a fun time in our "Family Pool" while Connor was at the game and she actually had a few hours with just Mommy and Me time. I'm so glad I bought the big pool this year, Something must have been telling me last year that we were really going to need the big one because if Mommy was out here, she was going to be in the pool. Mara loves to pour water over my head and pretend she is watering me just like all the flowers.
Just wanted to show off our beautiful flowers this year, they are finally starting to bloom all over and look amazing. We are so glad that we have them all in pots so we can take them to the new house in August. After Connor got home from the game we all headed back outside so he could cool off and the kids were really having a fun time together. I am so glad we are adding to the family because as I was sitting out there with Mara it was fun just watching her play alone, but you can just see the beam in her eyes when she is with Connor. Even though they have their moments I can't imagine what it would be like if they didn't have each other. They are both so excited for the baby and I am really happy to be giving them another one to love and enjoy each day with for the rest of their lives and ours.
