Connor has been busy lately collecting tons of rocks for his new rock garden. Daddy has been searching all over in the woods behind our house for the perfect rocks. They even trot over to Acme to find some there. Everywhere we go he wants to take rocks home.
Mara is having fun in her beautiful spring dress from Uncle Doug and Aunt Joan. She loves playing ball in the yard. Now her new thing is to lay on the ball and roll back and forth. I tried to get some cute pics of Mara in front of the tree but she kept closing her eyes.
Connor still has hope that the Flyers will pull through, but it doesn't look too good for them right now. They are down 3-0 with Boston up ahead. They have one more home game to try to hang on so for now Connor will wear orange and show his support.
This is going to be a very busy weekend for Don and I. We are putting the house on the market Monday or Tuesday and have to get it picture perfect. I packed about 6 large boxes today of winter coats, toys, books, vases and odds and ends. We are going to move the furniture pieces in the hallway out and get the boxes out to a friends' basement and after the yard work is complete we should be set. I do have to paint the strip of wood behind the sliding glass door outback, but that's pretty much it. I bought a new mat for outback, picked up 8 bags of mulch and planted flowers in the pots today. Don is going to mow, edge and plant the garden this weekend. Lets all keep our fingers crossed that our house sells quick. We have our eye on two beauties. One in Mullica Hill and one in Woolwich Township. They are both on over an acre with great views.
