Toys....What Toys....Do two kids actually live here?

So really have you ever seen our rooms so bright and empty. Don and I worked really hard over the last week to get our house in "show" condition. It really wasn't that our house was in that bad shape, but we did have some rearranging to do and some tidying up to be able to put it on the market. We put the house up on Tuesday night and on Wednesday had 2 showings and then yesterday one of the couples came back again, but still no news. Hopefully the nice weekend will bring some home shoppers around our way.

Well, we were sad to say that the Realtor told Don that he had to throw in his Pipe Smoking Jacket and get rid of his couch. Its amazing that since the couch is out of the garage the smell is practically gone too. Our neighbor took our picture of us sitting on the couch moments before a trash picker came by and swiped it away. It was a little sad to see it go since it was Don's first piece of furniture and our couch in our apartment and then his "smoking lounge couch". We couldn't believe that someone actually took it, little surprise for them when they get it home that it will probably be back on the curb again tomorrow. Sorry!

The kids got me flowers and a gigantic balloon for Mom's Day. It was really a special day. We spent the day going to church, planting flowers, mulching, mommy got a three hour nap, and a fabulous dinner. Don did a great job by getting me roses from the Acme and finally realizing that he doesn't have to spend a fortune on flowers and the best part is that a week later they are all still very much alive. We put out our hammock which is always so exciting and the kids are having so much fun with it. I can't wait to spend many relaxing afternoons out there with a good book and some sunshine.

Even though we couldn't be together on this special day please know that not a minute goes by that I don't think of you and thank God for everything you have given me. The love that you showed, the guidance to make me be a great mom, the comfort to get through the hard days, and the joy and laughter that keep our relationship as good as it is.
