There is a baby on it's way!
"WE ARE GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER AND A BIG SISTER IN 7 MONTHS"

Don and I are very excited to be sharing our news with all of you. We can't wait to be a family of five and while we are waiting we hope that all of you along with us will be saying prayers for a healthy baby. The kids don't really understand yet what is going on, but when I told Mara she lifted up my shirt and thought she was actually going to see a baby. Connor just looked at me and said, " I want a brother" and then went back to playing and neither of them has said a word about it since I said something. Of course until I picked him up from Lauren's house and Jess told me that Connor said, "mommy has a baby in her belly". I really need to make him realize that it is still a little secretive and not to tell every single sole he sees unless I say it is okay. I go on May 5th for my genetic testing ultrasound so we will keep everyone posted as the months go on, but for now we couldn't be more excited and so happy to be giving our two children another sister or brother to love. We have decided not to find out what we are having since this will most likely be our last baby. The hard part about this is trying to think of names, it is early, but of course the first thing we did was brainstorm names and still no compromising. If it is a girl, I want Lucy, but Don doesn't like it and we don't really have any boy names besides our original Collin which we keep going against because it is so close to Connor, but of course we both love it. I got to see the heartbeat today and the Doctor told me that it was very strong and everything looks good. I have been very sick for the past three weeks and every time I get sick, some how Mara is popping her head through the door and saying, "throw up, Mommy" then she sticks her head in the toilet after I am done and spits pretending to throw up. I can't wait for the nausea to go away and to find a pre- natal vitamin that doesn't make me sick. I guess I have a few more weeks ahead of me to wait this out, but I just keep thinking to myself it is all because God blessed me with another little bundle of joy. So I'm trying to get all the much needed rest which is why I haven't been up on my blogging or running. I am still going to attempt the Broad Street Run with a slow pace and some walking and in just a few weeks I'm sure I will feel great and be my peppy self again very soon.

WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER FOR YOU GUYS!! WHAT A LUCKY BABY TO BE BORN INTO SUCH AN AWESOME FAMILY!!! HOORAY FOR BABIES!! You better post a picture of that belly as SOON as it pops!!
p-s i have some extra zofran if you need it! there's nothing like being sick-but you at least have a better attitude about it than I did! :) Good Luck!!
Kelly, We are so excited for the new addition to the family!!!! And I know Samara is going to be the best big sister and Connor already is the best big brother. And anytime you need a break you can send the kids over here, you know how much Lauren loves to play with Connor and how much Mara loves to play with Alison!
