My Little Pumpkins!

Samara Practicing to be a Princess
All of the sudden Samara is starting to play with her Princess shoes. She loves to prance around with them on and watch them light up. We had to put socks on her so she could wear them because she kept saying they hurt her feet. Such tender toes!

Mara was enjoying the sunshine on Saturday picking flowers and cleaning up after Connor and Daddy while they were mowing the lawn. My little girl is getting so big. She wants to do everything Connor does, but sometimes is just too little to do all of it. Yesterday I got her up from her nap and I could tell something wasn't right because she was calling for me with this crazy tone in her voice. When I opened her door, I was in for a big surprise. She decided to check out her duties in her diaper and was smearing it all over her bed rails. YUCK! Not something a pregnant person with extreme nausea wants to experience. I am very thankful that she is pee trained, but man oh man when is that poppie training going to click. She told me today during playtime that she had to do yucks, but wouldn't go on the potty. Hopefully soon she will change her mind to make it just a little easier on me.
Connor had such a fun day hanging out with his Dad being a big boy and helping to mow the lawn and trim all the weeds away. He didn't want to get too close because the noise really was bothering him. He would get close and then just cover his ears, but he still managed to follow behind his Daddy and mow the front and back yard with his best friend.

Connor sporting his "Chase Utgly" jersey as he calls his favorite Phills player. He just loves the phillies and his buddy Chase.
Such an adorable smile. We are so happy the rain washed all the pollen away. His allergies are practically gone now and we are down to about 2 boxes of tissues a week instead of one a day. Horray! His eyes are looking pretty much back to normal and he has been sleeping much better at night.
Pregnancy Update: I am 11 weeks this week and still having to take my Zofran occasionally. I haven't actually got sick, but still feel completely awful most of the day. It really hits me at night around dinner time which I can't stand because then I don't feel like making dinner and we are spending too much money ordering out or eating crap. I made our dinner for tonight this morning so that I would have it prepared and the smell wouldn't bother me when it came time for dinner. I can just pop it on the stove and make myself deal with it. So tonight whether I like it or not we are having meatloaf and carrots with rice. I go next Wednesday for my 12 week ultrasound and sequential screening to make sure everything is going good with the baby and he/she is growing healthy. I actually slept through the night last night without waking up from 2-5 like usual. I had to work till 9 and didn't get to bed until after 10 so I think I am going to have to start making myself stay up later so I don't wake up in the middle of the night anymore. I usually go to bed at 7 or 8 with Connor which even though I am exhausted I think it is really causing most of my sleep issues. I am getting ready for my big weekend of my 10 miler race. Ready or Not I am not backing out. I did a 6 mile walk on Sunday and felt totally great, so what's running 4 more miles. I figure I will start out running and if I feel good just continue and if I get a cramp or out of breath I will just walk the rest of it. I know I won't be running my goal time of 1hr20mins, but if I can stay under an 11 min mile pace I will be super proud of myself. I am definitely starting to get a little energy back. Didn't take my power nap today because I had to clean the house and wanted to blog and do bills so I could go for a run tonight after dinner since it will still be light out till after 7pm.
