NOW I KNOW MY ABC'S, NEXT TIME WON'T YOU SING WITH ME

Samara is doing so well with learning her alphabet and her numbers. As of now she can count to ten and sing almost her entire alphabet. She does mumble together the last half of it, but it is so cute to see her enjoying knowing her Abc's and numbers. She is definitely going to be a smart cookie. I have a good feeling that she will be just like Don. He can read something once and memorize it forever where as I have to read it 7 times before it actually makes sense.

This is a great story...Today I called my Obgyn to see if I could get an appointment earlier since I was already in Cherry Hill and didn't want to do the drive again tomorrow. They had a 10:00 opening so I looked in my rear view mirror and saw my kids being good so I decided to take it and just bite the bullet that they wouldn't ask any questions and would cooperate when I told them to not talk and just be good little McMahon Children. Boy was I brave...because as soon as the nurse left Connor started asking me questions like why wasn't I going to get shots like he did, and didn't I need a shot for school, etc. And then he was asking why I had to take my clothes off for the doctor and why didn't I have socks on and so on and so on. I gave him a great explanation that Mommy's have to have their inside of their bellies checked once a year so that they can make sure their is room for more babies.(no, their is not a baby in this belly) He was satisfied with my answer. I put the kids behind the table and gave them each a magazine. Connor chose the people magazine and Mara choose the South Jersey Moms Magazine with the baby on the cover. She was so content with reading the magazine and licking her lolly until it was time to do my exam and then she dropped her magazine on the floor and her little head was trying to jump off to see what was going on. Dr. G said that she was going to take after Daddy and become a doctor so that she could be the next gynecologist. It was really funny. After the doctor left, Connor wanted to sit in her stool so he could touch the little footies on the stirrups. He got in the chair and looked at the table as if a person was up there and said, "So, what brings you in today, Any problems" It was hysterical! My kids were so good and they just made me smile and I really got to enjoy the laughter that they brought to me today. Every day is just another great moment and I wish I had a tape recorder to remember all the silly things they say all day every day.
