What a beautiful Fall Day!

Well our day started with the excitement of being able to wear our Flyers shirt. Connor has been asking to wear this shirt now for days, but I was trying to save it for a special day in December when Don takes Connor to his first Flyer's Game. I decided to give in and let him have his glory of wearing this shirt and then playing a little hockey out back. Who needs the ice when you have grass!

Connor is being an astronaut and Mara is Tinkerbell. They both looked so adorable in their costumes. We can't wait for Halloween this year. The house has been decorated for over a month now and the weather today just screamed FALL. We got together with some of our friends and went on a hayride to a real pumpkin patch, had fun bouncing in the moon bounce, wandering through the haunted house maze, painting our pumpkins and to top the day off we all got a huge cup of ice cream. G&G let us do the school field trip activities for $6.50 each kid and I was only $2. It was a great afternoon and the kids really enjoyed themselves. I asked Connor what his favorite part of the day was and he said moon bounce and riding on the play tractor. Mara of course could have just had the ice cream and called it a day. She got so upset when I went to throw out her ice cream before she was done, so we had to sit back down and eat more.
