We all got to enjoy record breaking 90 degree weather in April. The kids had a blast playing outside for almost a week straight. We got everything out of the shed so now our backyard looks completely like summertime. We played with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, kiddie pools, sprinklers, mulch, trucks and cars, shovels, rakes, planters, t-ball, etc. (you name it, we played it).
Once again, our little Mara is no fear. She loves to be doing every single thing her brother does and that means climbing to the top of swing sets, jumping off slides and getting dirty, too. She just jumps right in to the water and puts her face down in any small puddle or inkling of water even if it is in a bucket. We really have a challenge on our hands this summer.
Connor had a blast being able to play outback all by himself like a big boy thanks to us having our fence. He is so good and will play bball, bubbles, t-ball, football or anything as long as he can be outside. Of course, we are always out there when he is in the pool, but he basically is so excited for summer this year. He really can't wait to go to Florida. He wakes up every morning now and says can we go really fast and drive poppy's boat and go fast in grampa's pick up. He is definitely going to have a lot of fun on our trip. We wish Daddy was coming so he could see all the big smiles on those little faces in the sunshine.
