Connor's pre birthday celebration with Uncle Andy!

Uncle Andy came to visit for the weekend to celebrate with Connor and bring huge smiles to the almost 7 year old little boy(or should I say Big Boy). He's getting so big that at dinner he didn't want the coloring pages or crayons anymore 😪. My baby is growing up way to fast.
As soon as Andy got here we opened presents almost immediately. He was so excited to see what he got from his Uncle. Andy got him a new magic kit that he had to practice and show us right away. He was so cute and after he did the performance he took a big bow. We all got a good laugh, it was priceless! Of course a moment I wish I was videoing it.

Connor loved the magic set and said all he needs now is a hat and a wand! He makes the perfect facial expressions to be an awesome magician.

What a Masterpiece, I must say!

Connor is going to be three years old this week. I can't believe where the past three years have gone, but what a journey they have been. I couldn't be more blessed for such a happy and loving son. Who every morning wakes up right next to me (literally because he sleeps in my bed) and says mommy it is not dark anymore, lets go downstairs, no more nite-nite. Let's go get Mara. Mommy... Mara's awake and out we go to grab sister and start our day.

Horray for Mommy! As Connor told me, " Mommy, you did a great job" I just love hearing him say that to me. It is just so awesome! I must say the first time I made a cake using the icing tips and my own icing I thought I would never do that again, but I knew because I tried it for Mara's first birthday that I had to at least attempt it for Connor and I'm so glad I did. It was totally awesome and one of the best family things we could have done on a sunday afternoon. We all helped each other. Connor and Daddy mixed the food coloring into the icing because you need a ton of red dye to not have pink icing and then I needed help because the lightening bolt didn't transfer from the pan to the cake. I'm so glad Don is very talented in more ways than one. So we played baking together making Connor's cake and three hours later I had my masterpiece. I asked Connor where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner and all he kept saying was "cake and icing, no dinner, mommy", "you did a great job". I love you, Connor. mmmm, mmmm kisses and hugs to you on your birthday week.
