There’s a World of Wonderful Things to See and Do at Storybook Land!

Your pay-one-price admission includes unlimited rides with access to all storybook attractions!

For over 50 years, since its founding in 1955, Storybook Land has been keeping the spirit of childhood alive in an entertaining and educational atmosphere. At Storybook Land, our emphasis is on fun for the entire family … with special attention given to its youngest members. If this is your child’s – or grandchild’s – first visit to an amusement park, you can be certain that it will be a very positive experience. The timelessness of childhood will ring true as your family literally walks through its all-time favorite stories and nursery rhymes in a remarkably clean and enjoyable park setting.
STORYBOOK LAND

On Tuesday my friend Theresa and I took advantage of the $15 per person admission and had a fun filled day of riding rides, celebrating Julianne's Birthday and wearing out the kids to the max. The kids wanted to run right to the back of the park and go on "Bubbles" the rollarcoaster first and we were there early and there really weren't any lines and they went on it three times in a row and then we headed to tilt a whirl to make Mommy feel nauseous and from there to the rockin boat to continue Mommy's dizziness!

Theresa held down the fort with Meggie and Jules while we went on those rides and then from there it was smooth sailing and everyone could go on the rest of the rides together.

We got there at 10:00 and stayed until 4:00. I can't believe that Meghan and Matthew actually hung that long. Our original plan was just to pack some snacks and drinks and we would get lunch on the way home, but they were having so much fun so we decided to just enjoy funnel cake and water ice for lunch and keep going.
mmm..... the very best lunch any Mommy could ever give their kids. They were so excited to be eating a ton of junk!

Julianne had a great day celebrating her 8th birthday with all of us. She was having a great time riding all the rides and running around with the rest of the gang. Connor even made her dizzy on the tea cups and the turning buckets.

at this point in the ride, Theresa had to tell Connor to stop spinning the wheel because they were turning so fast.

We celebrated Jules's birthday under the big cake and Jules didn't want the attention so Connor sang God Bless America for her instead. It was a great day with great friends.

Meghan thought StoryBook Land was the best place ever.  She experienced her first real ride, the "dragon" and then had a blast on the carousel. She was definitely a trooper all day going with the flow and as soon as we got off a ride she didn't put up a fight to get back in the stroller. We rode the old tyme cars, the train, ventured through the maze, feed the animals and even got our feet wet.

This was the longest line we had to wait for the old tyme cars because they move so slow, but Mara had a fun time driving the car and Meggie loved being the back seat driver.

No longer than 5 minutes back in the car were Matthew and Meghan fast asleep even through all the laughing and carrying on with the older kids. Connor and Jules are like two peas in a pod. Theresa and I think they really like eachother and I caught them having a moment together on the bench, they think its so funny to tell stories to eachother.
Mara and Jessie make their own fun too! Matthew just walks around all day saying that Connor is his friend and Meggie screams at the top of her lungs and giggles really loud when all the kids are laughing at something. They get along so well together and all had so much fun.
Thank you so much, Theresa, for inviting us to an amazing day at StoryBook Land and for letting us share in Julianne's 8th Birthday with her. We can't wait to do it again!

Mara's first Soccer Practice
It's always been just about Connor on the fields, but watch out here comes the little sister!

There she is off and ready to strut her stuff. She already has the girly walk down to a "T" now all she has to do is kick it into high gear on the fields.

Mara is on the grey team this year and Connor is on the red team and their first games are this coming Saturday morning. We are exited to see them in action and see if Mara turns into a superstar like her brother. Way to go Mara, we are so proud of you!
