AND HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL MOTHER'S ESPECIALLY TO MY AMAZING MOMMY!
Mara invited me to a Mother's Day Tea at her school and it was so adorable. The kids made place mats for us to use filled with pictures and their hand prints and then they had books of things all about their Mommy. I had to laugh at some of Mara's answers it was just so funny.
My Mommy's name is Kelly and she is 20 years old. My mommy's favorite food is lettuce, cucumbers, salad and spaghetti. Her favorite drink is Beer! My mommy's favorite tv show is the news and my mommy loves to cook cheese sandwiches and peanut butter and jelly. I like it when Mommy and me play zingo and she likes to go to McDondalds and shoprite with me and pop pop. My Mommy is as pretty as a princess and I love Mommy because she loves Me!
Connor made me a beautiful card from school and we planted sunflower seeds together for our special Mother's Day Morning. He was so excited to finally give me my Mother's Day presents.
and Meggie was all smiles all day long!
Just when you think you have cleaned it all and you can sit to relax you look outside and this is the site you see.... the kids had so much fun and really all you could do at this moment is laugh along with them.
Being a Good Mom

"Being a Mommy is stressfull, lets face it. The list that keeps growing no matter how quickly we check things off.. So here’s my thinking, I don’t want to be a super mom, I want to be super at being me; which includes feeling good about myself. What makes me feel good, fitness! Haven’t you noticed how much easier things are to deal with when you’re feeling fit and taking care of yourself. This is not about vanity, it’s about sanity.
Fitness is my stress reliever, how I reconnect with myself, and how I have the energy to do what I can on my list. It makes everything in my life make sense. I believe we can be it all and do it all, as long as we individually determine what that means. Those are the traits I want to teach my children to value."I personally feel that if I am feeling good about myself than I am a better mom. I am happier and overall feel good about my self and my kids can notice that I am not stressed and am overall happier.
It allows me to just let the little things in life go and enjoy the memories we are making together. The house may not be as clean as it used to, dishes may be left in the sink and the beds not always made but I feel good about my self and my kids are enjoying all the fun times we are having.
I love you guys so much and had a wonderful Mother's day. I got up early and went for a great run on a beautiful morning and then we all went to church where I cuddled with Meggie because she wouldn't go in the nursery and then Mommy had an outing by herself to the mall to buy some new clothes. We all had a nice dinner together as a family and it was a really great day.

Our little ballerina
We are so very proud of you, Mara, you were so darling up on that stage and we are so happy for the wonderful job you did in all three performances! Way to go, Mara!
Pop Pop's 80th Birthday Celebration
Well how fast the years go and with each passing year we celebrate our wonderful Pop Pop. He just turned 80 and the kids couldn't be more excited to celebrate with him. We took him to Long Horn Steak house which is his favorite place to eat and we all had a great time. Then we came home and had delicious carrot cake but Mara didn't think it was a good cake because their were no sprinkles so we let her decorate her own cake and it became more sprinkles then cake. Uncle Andy came up for the weekend so he was there to celebrate with us and the kids wore him out to no end. Connor made him play baseball for two days straight. He really does love his uncles and of course the kids all adore their pop pop.
