It's Christmas time and we are Jolly!
"our perfect tree" and "our perfect family"
Connor being the good sport and helping the guys get the tree ready for our roof, little did we know that we didn't have this van last year and their is not a roof rack and the tree just kept sliding off, we kept saying, Whoooaaaa! Well we could have got it to stay on but then we would have had to drive home with the back doors open and that wasn't such a good plan so the nice men offered to drive it home for us. .....Merry Christmas!
At this point, Mara decided not to join in on our celebration of our tree. She was not having any more pictures.
U Cut Tree Farm
any tree
$32 bucks....and he even drove it home for us!Of course we gave a nice tip, Tree was so big it wouldn't even fit on the top of our van!
Connor is on the hunt and searching hard for the perfect tree. We were literally at the farm for 10 minutes and Daddy was waiting for the owner to come outside while we started looking and as soon as he walked down to us he looked over to the right and said, "did anyone look at this tree, it is the most perfect one here." So that is how we found our tree, it just stumbled upon us and landed right at Daddy's feet.
Mara is taking care of her little sister and making sure she doesn't fall over. They are sitting next to the cutest baby tree I have ever seen. Not your ordinary pine tree, but such a beautiful tree it will be in a few years. We will just have to keep our eye on this one.
Just making sure the tree is perfectly trimmed and there are no hanging branches that we missed. We love our very perfect and plump Christmas tree. We think it just might be the most perfect tree we have ever had!
We are really excited to celebrate our second Christmas here at our new house. We still have to finish decorating inside and then next week we will get out the ornaments. So far Meghan has not tried to touch the tree, but we will see what happens when we add a little bling to it. I finally decided to buy the candles for the front windows of the house. A whooping 18 lights later, our house is picture perfect from the street. I can't believe I actually waited this long to put the candles in the windows. We love the way it makes the house light up at night and we are going to leave them up all year round now. We both just love, love, looooveeeee how it looks. I will post a picture of that as soon as Don hangs the rest of the lights on the tree out front. We decorated the porch and that looks great, now all I need are two 4' Christmas pre lit trees in urns and a big 60" wreath to hang from the top balcony and I will be set for future years. HINT!HINT! .....If anyone wants something to buy us for Christmas this year or get a good deal the day after Christmas and save it for my Birthday! Our Masterpiece Christmas tree all lit up and complete with skirt.
