If Nana only knew... well I'm sure she knows and is saying....no,no, no

Meg got a hold of the apples
Meggie is having a blast playing with Nana's apples and the bucket. All the times we would go and visit with Nana the apple bucket was right by the door when you walked in and all the kids went right for the apples. Nana was famous for, "no, don't touch" with everything in her house. She would pull out a little bag of toy trains, a doll and playing cards for the kids but really all they wanted was the apples and all the fun antiques to play with. Well now Meg is getting her chance at playing with the apples and I am going to be sure to let her know the story behind these apples when she gets older. Connor and Mara have never even tried to touch the apples or play with them because I guess they knew that they were Nana's apples and nobody could touch them. We really miss Nana so much and think about her all the time. Now that our house is decorated with all of her antiques and nik nacs we are sure to have many stories to tell to our kids about her. We were even down the shore in LBI and when we came back to the house on the last night of our vacation Mara walked in and said, "mmm...it smells like Nana's house" and Don immediately said, "you know, that's so weird I was just thinking the same thing" It is strange how God lets you know that your loved ones are still there with you even though you can't see them anymore. The strangest thing about the smell is that it only was that one time and only lasted for a few seconds. We will always remember all our fun times with Nana at the beach. We love you.
