Fall is on its way and so we begin a new phase: Connor and Soccer
Don took these photos with his cell phone so they aren't the best resolution to blow up, but you can at least see Connor running with the ball. He is so excited to start playing Fall Soccer and it definitely makes him seem so grown up to us. Time is going by so fast with the kids, I just can't seem to believe how fast they are growing up. Connor had a lot of fun at his first practice and has one more practice before the opening day on Saturday. Uncle Andy is coming up to watch his first game and we are all excited to see the whole team run around in a clump chasing the ball. This is only the beginning of all the many games to come and practices to be had by a very active little guy. So now here goes every Saturday in September and October filled with tiny tots running down the field. I just hope Connor starts to understand that you don't always have to score and win every game all the time.Even after his first practice he wanted to know why he couldn't score a goal and why their team didn't win the game. Lessons to be learned for every day life of a 4 year old. We try to explain to him that it is all about the fun and joy of playing with friends and just having a good time, but he is super competitive and always wants to come out on top.
