As for Samara, she is still singing and dancing all the time and she loves to spend her spare time playing babies with Meggie. She enjoys playing with playdoh, coloring and painting. She has recently reached a new milestone and three weeks ago Daddy taught her how to tie her shoes. We had her 6 year well visit today and she was 43 lbs, 3ft 8inches and all around a very healthy 6 year old. We are also excited to say that Samara and Connor have both graduated from sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's room at night and they have found that sleeping together in Mara's bunk beds isn't all that bad. We are very proud of them for showing us that they can be "big girls and boys".
One of Samara's favorite things to do is make cakes and cupcakes on the weekends. Here she was enduldging in a cupcake cone at the lip sync concert Saturday at their school.
Swedesboro auction center "skate at your own risk" Hockey center!
Connor spent almost three hours here Saturday night playing hockey and got to play with all the older kids. He had a blast and scored 15 goals. This kid is definitely living up to his middle name.
And then there is our baby girl, Meggie!! She's definitely a girly girl. Constantly dressing up, wearing sunglasses, beads and whatever else she comes across!
Meghan loves to play with her big sister and recently she has started to talk like her, repeat her constantly, dress like her, and basically be her. It's amazing to see how much she loves her and looks up to her. They are always looking out for each other and will be the sisters that are best friends. I decided that since the girls have been really good and sleeping especially well at night that I would buy the pram stroller that Meg loves so much. Every time we go to my friends house she immediately goes right to it. Her expression was completely priceless when she found out what it was. The girls have been great at sharing and playing with it together!
What a fun lunch... Sitting at the diner counter! Such a fun time. So glad the diner was crowded and we found the most perfect seats. There was laughter, fun, smiles and complete happiness in the kids eyes. Connor met an x- minor league pro baseball player for the sanfrancisco giants and he just happened to have the same birthday as Connor. He talked to him for a while and they had a lot in common. He told Connor that he knew Ronald Reagen and once played hockey with Bobby Clarke. He is also a lefty which was icing on the cake. I love how Connor has such great people skills and knows so much about sports. He is one unique little boy!!
And such may the saying hold true for others as well...
Alex and Layla
So glad we chose two sisters!!
