Happy Halloween!!

The kids carved their own pumpkins this year. Connor's is on the left, Meggie in the middle and Samara's is on the right. We helped them just a little bit with the cutting but the kids designed them and had a lot of fun pulling out the guys.

This is Meggie singing on the morning of Halloween trying to prepare for trick or treat. 

Trick or Treat, Trick or Treat,Give me something nice to eat,If you don't we don't care,We'll put money in your underwear. Trick or treat, you're so neat. Give me something good to eat. Nuts and candy, fruit and gum. I'll go away if you give me some!

The kids were very happy with their piles of candy and were super excited that they got giant sized Hershey bars! We know where we are going again next year!

I think the kids have ate more than half of their candy in just a few days. Our days start off with candy and end with candy! Don says it's the joy of Halloween but mommy thinks otherwise. Unfortunately for mommy, daddy always wins. 

I would say this year was a super fun time and a huge success. So much fun watching the kids do trick or treat. They all really enjoyed it this year. Connor was a best up hockey player, Mara was a fairytales witch and meg was tinker belle. The girls loved wearing sparkly purple eyeshadow and Connor lived the fake blood.
