Meghan's first movie at the theatre and samaras visit to DuPont for her hearing

Meggie went to her first movie at the theatre today to see the Lorax! Amazingly she made it through but only with a ton of popcorn and snacks. She wouldn't sit in the seats so she plopped right down in the isle and just did her own thing. I couldn't get a picture but we were able to capture a pic of the big crew we went with and if you could only imagine all those kids jumping seats and wanting popcorn every 2 minutes, it was pretty comical to say the least.

After the movies I ventured over to DuPont hospital with samara for her audiology test for her right ear that she failed twice and for the ENT to check her ears for fluid and her tonsils for snoring. So after being there for almost 3 hours we are now scheduled for surgery on August 12th. She will be getting tubes and also having her tonsils and adenoids removed. We are a little nervous but I know it's for the best since she struggles with hearing loss in the right ear and always has restless sleep.
Here is Mara sleeping with her head tilted and mouth open so she can breath. I can't wait for her to be able to sleep without any trouble.

Samara playing with the dinosaurs in the pre-op rooms getting her clearance for surgery. She loved the children's hospital and kept talking about it all night. I can't say enough about how great everyone was and everywhere we turned the next person was nicer than the last. It was a great experience and I feel really comfortable with her having her surgery there. She will be in observance one night and then recovery will be about 5 days. We were so proud of our little big girl today!
