Colton is home

Colton spent 16 days in the Virtua Nicu but now is healthy and ready to be a big boy at home with his mom, dad, and big sister Peyton and big brother Carson. So excited for my sister and her little bundle of joy. I can only imagine the stress and heartache of not bringing your baby home from the hospital. God Bless Colton Joshua and we are so glad to finally have him home. He was such a joy to hold and cuddle on Sunday. Mara couldn't get enough of him and was so excited to hold him.
My first time holding my little nephew. So exciting to hold such a tiny baby. It make you realize how fast they grow up. My baby is almost 1 and a half and a whooping 20lbs. Time goes so fast and you just forget how small they once were in just a short time. Ohhh, how I love the cuddling days of babies. At least I can hold and cuddle him whenever I want and then come back home to a good nights sleep.
Aunt Jess is so proud of her strong little boy and so happy to finally have him home.

Mara's first butterfly kisses to her new cousin.

Mimi with Mara and Colton. All the other kids were just running around playing and all Mara wanted to do was hold Colton with a great big grin on her face. She was totally fascinated by him. I know she would love another baby brother or sister, but I had to break the news to her that that wasn't going to happen unless a miracle would come.

Uncle Mike making a crazy face when Poppy told him that he looked really good holding a baby.
Ha,Ha, Uncle Mike. Don't think that will happen for some years to come yet. Although we are all hoping he pop the question soon because we love Emily.
"All this cuddling is making me really tired, says Colton for the first time on Sunday."

So cute and cuddly!
