Avalon with Mimi and Poppy

Home from the beach for a few days and wanted to go back for more so we crashed Mimi and Poppy's mini getaway to Avalon with the Wilson's and the Baker's. The kids played in the sand all day, Connor got to go boogie boarding with Poppy and play baseball. Samara got to have a blast in the sand and digging in a giant hole and Meggie got to hang out with Mimi and Mommy and taste the salt water on her lips.

This is one of my favorites. We really do have three cuties!

Mara and Connor hanging out by the life guard stand giving each other hugs

oh no, I hope Meggie isn't trying to copy after her big sister by sticking that tongue out at me...

The big hole that Mr. Baker dug for the kids. When Mara was in the hole you couldn't even see her head. I kept looking around and thinking she ran off but there she was digging for more water.

Connor riding a few good waves in while in the ocean with Poppy
He could seriously stay in the ocean for hours. He loves to ride waves, dive through the center of the wave and come out on the other side. Of course I am a worry wort and can't stand him going under the waves but he thinks it is so much fun and I just have to let him live it up.

Mommy and Mara getting dirty building drizzle castles. Such relaxing moments and you can never build a bad drizzle castle until the next wave comes crashing it down.

Connor on an intense game of baseball in the ocean playing with his Poppy. He always has to go through the lineup of the Phillies team...here comes Howard, Pence, Vic-vic torino, Utley, Chuch... then it goes like this...man on first, man on second, man on third...Howard hits a grand slam. Phillies up 4-0. Phillies have won the game.

Mimi and Poppy playing in the gully with their grand kids. Having a splashing time at the beach.

well, there goes that tongue again

Our Meggie, getting her feet wet.

Mara blowing bubbles in the water

"dancing in the sun and sand"
making footprints of fun to treasure forever...
