We Won, Right Coach?

Those were the last words you heard before leaving the field,
" Yep, Connor we won, 6-6"

Introducing the "SharkDragons"

What an amazing day today was, It's always such a great day when you can see how happy and excited your child is and watching them grow, thinking back to the past and wondering how do the days really go by as fast as they do. Our little boy is playing t-ball and having so much fun doing it. Don keeps telling him because he is lefty that one day he will make lots of money as a pitcher and what do you know his career started today. The coach made him the pitcher and although he didn't have to pitch any balls, he did get a few outs at first base. Our coaches are really great and we have an awesome group of moms on our team. I am the team mom so it's fun keeping everyone happy and being organized that all the kids and parents are happy too. Friday night the coaches had a pre game pizza party and float decorating celebration to get ready for Opening day and the big SHLL Parade. The boys did a great job decorating their float and had lots of noise makers to be heard from a mile away.

poor baby, a sweet little someone was feeling a little left out. When we got in the car to go to the park to wait for the parade, Mara said, "mommy am I going to get to do that when I am five" Even though she may be a challenge sometimes, she really does have a super sweet side to her.
Here Don is trying to make her have fun and pulling her away from the float. She must have tried to get on a bazillion, trillion times.

The Camden RiverSharks Mascot even made an appearance. The kids thought they really had a Mascot. They were so excited!

Connor's first time at bat. He hit the ball right in the air to the pitcher and made it to first base. SAFE!

 Running to Second Base....
 Running to Third Base....
and the moment he has waited five years to finally do....SLIDE INTO HOME PLATE!

AND ONCE AGAIN, THANK GOODNESS FOR POP-POP....MARA'S FAVORITE PLAYMATE.

Have you ever seen anyone slide like this?

GO SHARKDRAGONS!
