The kids got an extra special treat because Gramma and Grampa have been stranded here since Atlanta airport has had bad ice and snow and they have had a ton of delays and cancellations. Everyday they check the status of their flight only to find out they are staying another day. I'm sure they are ready to get back to the warm weather but for now the kids are enjoying spending their time with them and glad that they didn't have to go home on Monday. It will be Thursday tomorrow and they are keeping their fingers crossed that their flight is a go in the morning so they can get warm. Today Grampa had a ton of fun playing with the kids and taking them sledding in the driveway and then having a full out snow ball fight, but I have to say I think Grampa won because Connor was totally blasted in snow from head to toe.

Taking advantage of the cold weather and Connor's Library book from school. We decided to make a few recipes yesterday and today and they both turned out great and he had so much fun.

I never did get to take a picture of the finished product but they were very good rolls. I would have to compare them to the rolls at Bertucci's. Connor is a great cook and one day just may be the "Top Chef"
