OPENING CEREMONIES
SOUTH HARRISON TOWNSHIP SOCCER CLUB
2010
It was super cute to see them warming up and doing jumping jacks. Reminded me of when I use to play soccer, even though I was much older, some things never change.
The town started their own soccer club last year with 75 soccer players and this year had an amazing turnout of 170 players ranging from 3-7 years old. Some kids are from Harrison Township because they don't have a 3-4 year old league, but it was great to see all the parents and kids enjoying such a beautiful Saturday morning with their kids. As for the opening ceremonies all the kids were grouped together with their coaches and then announced by age group to run down the field and through the cones. Connor's team is called the "Thunder". He thinks it is so cute that they huddle and then go 1,2,3,....THUNDER!
Connor's team waiting to be announced for the run down the field.
The big HUDDLE before the game!
Mara excited to watch her big brother play his first soccer game!

Uncle Andy enjoying his time alone with Mara.
Well, Mommy and Daddy were so glad we were both there with you to see your face light up and your smile just beaming from ear to ear. This is going to be the first of the many memories to capture as you grow up and we couldn't be happier for you. We love you so much.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
Connor giving Uncle Andy hugs for being at his first soccer game. We all know how much it meant to him for you to be there. Connor's team is actually really good and they won 4-1 with Connor scoring one goal and I think Brayde scored the rest. There is this other boy on the team who is super fast and just takes the ball down the field and scores right away. After about 30 mins the kids were asking to sit down and were getting really tired. Connor never seemed that tired and he just kept going. He really had a fun time and enjoyed the day.
THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY
CONNOR SCORED HIS FIRST SOCCER GOAL AT A REAL GAME!
JUST BEAMING WITH EXCITEMENT!
