Uncle Andy sent the pictures from DC when Connor was playing DJ just like Uncle Andy. Andy has his entire office set up with all his DJ equipment and Connor just thinks all the music, records and DJ'ing equipment is just amazing. He loves rock n' roll and put on the head phones and went to town singing his all time favorite "Love Hurts" from the tv commercial. Along with playing with the DJ equipment he is still having fun wearing his silly bands, watching them glow in the dark and loves to trade them with his friends. He also hasn't taken his watch off since Christmas morning. Hopefully soon he will really learn how to tell time, but as of right now he just says its 10:30 all the time. He is learning all of his numbers pretty quickly and can see on a digital clock the hour that it is. Pop Pop has been working hard when he is here to teach him his alphabet and numbers so he can learn them on paper. We just signed him up for preschool for September. He will be going in the afternoons five days a week from September to June and the best part is that he will be taking the "Big Yellow School Bus". He is really excited because he will get to ride the bus with Tanner(our neighbor). I will get 2 months of afternoons off while Mara naps to get ready for the baby to arrive. Hopefully we will be getting settled into a new house and Mommy will need lots of time to organize everything. We have a realtor coming on Tuesday and have our eye set on a house in Woolwich that we really can't wait to see. Just keeping my fingers crossed that since we are pricing our house to sell that it sells quickly and that the house we want doesn't sell before we can make an offer. I am in love with the street, looks like lots of young families, it is a little bit off the beaten path but only a few miles from our house now and is on 1.5 acres of land with a beautiful kitchen, deck, morning room, 4 bedrooms and an over sized family room that opens up to the kitchen. We are hoping to find something that we can move into by September instead of building. So, we will see how our meeting goes on Tuesday night and start the process of getting all the toys into storage and fixing everything up to put a big "For Sale" sign on our front lawn. We are so excited to find a home for our family that we can actually call "Home" and everyone can have their own rooms.
"our little rocker"
This is the video of Connor singing with his new guitar that he made at MOPS last week. It was so cute, he just wanted to keep singing. He even had a rock shirt on to go with his guitar and song. He really is going to be some type of star one day, I can just see it in his future. Of course there is pop pop in the background just taking it all in and giggling at his little superstar who runs him ragged everyday. Pop Pop won't be in the door one step before Connor runs charging at him to play baseball or soccer. I seriously don't know how he does it, because I am many years younger and sometimes find it hard to keep up with my busy 4 year old. His new thing now is to play the goalie. Today the ball hit him in the face and he started crying, but after a second he said okay, I'm okay now Pop Pop. He is truely the energizer bunny, he just keeps going and going and going.
