Walking in a Winter Wonderland...
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight.
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
When you're in town.
Later on, we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid,
The plans that we've made,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman,
Until the other kids knock him down.
When it snows, ain't it thrilling,
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Samara is camping out by the front door watching the snow fall. The kids had fun making a camp site to be cozy together to enjoy watching the snow.
Boo- Whoo! Is what Connor was saying when I told him he couldn't go out and play until the snowing actually stopped. He wasn't too happy. He woke up at like 5:30 and said Mommy it isn't snowing anymore, so lets get up and go outside. So we made it out there around 9:30 and had a blast sledding and making angels in the snow.
THIS IS ONE FOR THE RECORD BOOKS!
Well we got close to two feet of snow this past weekend and are enjoying every minute of its beauty! Although it puts a damper on some plans, nothing is more beautiful in nature then the white covered grounds at Christmas time. I am so excited that we will all get to enjoy a beautiful white Christmas 2009.
