THE MCMAHON SPOOKTACULAR
We had another great year of carving pumpkins on Halloween. A tradition we started a few years back. Don and Mara really have their work faces on in these photos. Concentration at its best. We carved three pumpkins this year. Connor's pumpkin was a smiley face, Mommy's and Mara's pumpkin was an original spooky eyed green pumpkin and Don's was of course a masterpiece free hand work of art. At least one of us has the artistic talents in this family.
Connor was so very proud of his pumpkin.
Mara was all about saying "Happy Hallooooweeeeen",all day long.
Everytime we would go up to a door, Mara would consistently have to take at least 3 pieces of candy from each house. When we got home she definitely had twice as much as Connor. Mara always said, "carry you", everytime after she got her candy. I think the dogs in the neighborhood were scaring her off. The first house we went to was our friends Tara and Andy's Dads house and as soon as the kids knocked on the door the dog came running and barking and then ran out of the house. Well that was enough for the kids to come running towards us, forget the candy, we are out of here. Don and I wish we had the video camera with us, definitely an America's most funniest moments.

What a cute neighborhood bunch. All smiles on Shadybrooke Court, hey even Mara cracked a smile.
It was a fun Halloween and thank goodness the rain held off so the kids could collect too much candy that now Mommy and Daddy will have to eat.
