Finally!

Well, today we got great news that Don finally got his own Medical License so no more using other Dr's licenses to call in scripts, he now has his own digits..... I am so happy for him. At dinner tonight he sat down and told Connor that he got his license and rattled off the numbers to him. It was really cute. Now, he can do everything himself, just one more license to pay for( the DEA license which is another couple hundred bucks, so hopefully he can moon light a few times before he has to get that). It definitely pays to know people in this crazy world. Don applied for his license on June 12 and most people say it takes anywhere from 3-4 months for the processing to go through, but thank goodness one of his attendings could pull some strings to get it processed quickly. He found out in the beginning of June that you couldn't practice in PGY6 if you didn't have a license. Of course, procrastination played a part in this chaos, but all is over now and he has his license. Yeah, Doctor McMahon!
