A few days ago, I was geting the coffee pot out of the cabinet above the fridge and Connor and Mara thought it would be cute to try and help me. Connor got out the chefs hats and aprons and put one on him and Mara. They were having fun playing kitchen and Connor was using the stool to act as a counter to collect money from all the customers. 
OUR CRAZY MARA!The other morning I went in to get Mara after she woke up and she had her PJ shirt up over her head and behind her neck. She was giggling and was excited at what Mommy saw when she walked into the bedroom. She is pretty funny these days, talking and growing up so fast. She loves her new Elmo PJ's or as she calls them "melmo" pj's. She is starting to say so many new words that I really should be writing them all down. Her favorite thing to say is nite-nite. Her and Don have this thing that everytime Don says nite nite Mara, she puts her head to the side and says nite-nite. It's too cute. She loves to point to pictures and say Mommy about everything and anything. It could be a plant on the wall and she will call it Mommy. She also for the first time during dinner said "broclee" her word for broccoli. Both the kids love to eat broccoli with their dinner and dip it into dressing or anything that they can use to dip it in. Mara recently started having little tantrums which you forget how young they are when they start getting mad and throwing their heads against the floor. When she doesn't get her way, watch out.
