So here we are four years later and we couldn't be more in love than the day we said "I Do".
It's hard to believe that so much as happened in just four short years. When I first met you, I knew you were the one even though we had some bumps in the road every time we rekindled our love it just felt right. You are and always were the only one for me. I never have to look for love again and each anniversary finds us happier than the last. You are to me everything...my moon, my stars, my sun. You always know how to comfort me when I'm feeling down or upset and can really understand and show me what real love is all about. We fill each others love with joy, pleasure and forever fun. As each day passes, I still know you are the most amazing person I have ever known and to be with you means the world to me. Celebrating our anniversary each year just makes me fall in love all over again. I'm so glad you are my shining star and each and every night I will love you to the moon and back. Happy 4th!

Over the past four years, we have traditionally celebrated what each year was about and given gifts that symbolized the year. Don is so creative that each year he came up with great ideas that I would never have thought of and I wish I could think of such wonderful things for him. So this year was the year for flowers, so I searched high and low to find the perfect gift for him, but came up empty when the gift I wanted is only available during the winter months. I guess I should have thought about that months ago when I actually saw it and said to myself that is what I'm getting Don for our special day. Needless to say, Don loves flowers and plants, gardening, landscaping and pruning. I know he loves bonsai trees and I thought what the perfect gift if only I could have found one now. So, I settled on the next best....something we saw together and I know he will love all summer long. I got him two black eyed susans, so now every time a new flower blooms he will think of me and always know that I am there smiling back at him. The bonsai tree had to be ordered online, but I can't wait to get it and since we recently renovated the upstairs bathroom, it will bring such a wonderful finishing touch to the room. I can't wait for it to arrive.

So, Don got the original gift of actually getting flowers for anniversary #4 and I got the creative gift of a bag with a flower on it, but with an incredible ipod in it. Thanks honey, for being so good to me and for always loving me.
