WE TOOK POP-POP TO BREAKFAST TODAY FOR A YUMMY START TO HIS SPECIAL DAY!
Pop-Pop is another year older, which means another year to love his grand kids to pieces. We are so happy that we have him close to us because Connor and Mara just eat him up. He loves to get down on the floor with the kids and play games and do what ever they want him to do. The kids faces just light up when they see him coming to the door and I know that makes our Pop-Pop just beam from inside out.
Uncle Andy is coming this weekend to help us celebrate Pop-Pop's Birthday and on Saturday we will all be going to Outback for his Birthday Dinner. MMMMM..., need I say a BLOOMING ONION is headed our way. Connor and Mara had a great time at breakfast and we all ate delicious pancakes and eggs. It was a great morning to a beautiful and sunny day.

Mara enjoyed her pancakes so much. She ate almost an entire pancake which was pretty much the size of her plate. She is doing so great using a spoon and a fork. As soon as she turned 17mos she became "LITTLE MISS INDEPENDENT". She won't let anyone do anything for her anymore. She has to feed herself everything and doesn't want any help doing things. She is even going as far as to putting her shoes on herself.
