Snow Day Second Week In a Row! Horray!

By the way rubberbands are a great way to keep the mittens on when they don't quite fit just right!
What a beautiful day it was! The snow was so beautiful to watch falling last night and the trees just looked so pretty. It was the perfect picture of "Peace". The kids had a blast sledding today and I think mommy was even more excited then they were. It was about 8:15 am and we were all bundled and ready to go outside to play. Mara lasted until about 9:15 and then I gave in and brought her back inside so she could take her morning nap. Connor and I grabbed the monitor and went back out for some more fun. He helped me shovel the driveway and sidewalk and then we tried to build a snowman. As hard as we tried to roll the snow into a ball it just wasn't working, so we opted for yet another plumpy make shift snowman, but this time I added accessories. Connor for some reason didn't want to get to close to him and then just said " I don't really like him." Poor Mr. Snowman. I tried to get Connor to make a snow angel, but couldn't get my self to get down in the snow to do it myself so we will have to try that again next time. I unfortunately still had to go into work today. I wasn't lucky enough for any of my patients to cancel. So, we stayed outside till about 11 am and then warmed up with some warm chocolate milk and a snack. It was a great day!
